Since I was a little girl my Dad has called me 'Soph the Loaf' and now I'm in my 30s I believe more than ever that we shouldn't have to be afraid to be a little different, a little silly and a little more vibrant. I design and make bold, fun jewellery and accessories to embrace that child-like glee and make life colourful well into our old age.

For the past 10 years I have been designing jewellery and making it by hand here in Yorkshire. I've moved on from my spare bedroom and into a studio in the beautiful Sunny Bank Mills in Leeds.

Here I hand draw all my designs and cut them from recyclable acrylic and FSC certified sustainable wood on my very own laser cutter. I have expanded from just jewellery to making loads of fun things for you, your desk or your home.

All my jewellery is made into pieces using nickel free materials like iron and stainless steel so it's kind to your sensitive skin and everything is tested for durability before being made available for you.

My work is inspired by the every day things we love, our memories of childhood and the kooky things we see on our travels.

More about Sophie

I’m a thirty-somethingtea-loving Yorkshire lass living in Leeds - designing, writing and photographing my way through life.

I studied art & design at York College before working my way up in retail for several years and being in charge of all things creative at a local clothing manufacturing and wholesale company. Ultimately I wanted to do my own thing and I started making jewellery as a hobby, never dreaming it would be my full time job a few years later.

I love to travel and see somewhere new, especially with my camera in hand to capture little moments and places that I can use to inspire my work. I'm obsessed with the clouds, dogs, live music, charity shops, handmade, anything with a story; old furniture, dusty records, faded books. I get overly excited about things and wear my heart on my sleeve.

In my spare time I help to run a collective of Etsy sellers in the Leeds area as a Co-Captain of Etsy Team Leeds, providing advice and support to local small businesses.

Let's be friends? I spend most of my life over on Instagram, come hang out!
